Tennessee Counseling Medication Management

Medication Management is an outpatient treatment that provides oversight of a client’s prescription medications to help treat psychological and emotional issues.

Our Comprehensive Care May Include:

  • Initial Intake Assessment
  • Psychological Testing
  • Prescription of  Medication
  • Monitoring of Side Effects
  • Ongoing Monitoring of the Client’s Response to a Drug

For many emotional issues, a combination of therapy and medication may be utilized to help individuals overcome difficulties. Medications may be temporary or long-term. Monitoring a client’s response to medications is critical. While many individuals experience tremendous benefits from psychotropic medications, it is especially important to monitor the process at the beginning of a regimen. Regular checkups and assessments are beneficial after adjustments are made and clients are comfortable with their medication.
