Depression can be paralyzing. Asking for help is the powerful first step that can lead you back to your life and to experiencing joy. Feelings of fatigue, loss of motivation or lack of pleasure in everyday life may cause individuals not to seek help. In this way, depression sometimes perpetuates itself.
Seeking help can be hard. Fear about treatment, fear of the unknown, and even fear of embarrassment are all barriers to those suffering with the complex array of emotions that may arise from depression.
Depression therapy and treatment should not be frightening. Depression therapists understand the complicated mix of emotions and situations that individuals struggling with depression face. Tennessee Counseling’s clinicians use evidence-based treatment models to provide each individual with a customized, individualized treatment plan using methods that are proven to work. Through in-house clinical supervision each plan is monitored and reviewed to keep progress on track and provide a superior clinical experience, all while observing strict rules of confidentiality.
When depression makes the tasks of day-to-day life emotionally draining, it is hard to find the energy to navigate the process of finding professional help. At Tennessee Counseling we believe the process of finding the right clinician, completing the administrative process, and beginning the healing process, should not add to an individual’s distress. Tennessee Counseling created their practice and their process with the client experience in mind. It is designed to provide the simplest, and most direct access to the help you need. We provide a full-time non-clinical staff that provides administrative, IT, and office support. The call center has extended hours and is manned by professionals who understand the urgent and sensitive nature of providing mental health services. Offices are designed to be pleasant and calming, allowing clients to put their complete focus on the therapeutic process.
