Dr. William Blackerby, PhD

Dr. William “Bill” Blackerby, PhD,  has been a practicing Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist for over 30 years.  Bill obtained his Doctorate degree from the University of Arizona in Rehabilitation Psychology. He provides an assessment environment that is warm, friendly and collaborative for issues related to trauma, ADHD, Autism, depression, anxiety, brain injury, dementia, and other chronic neurologic and mental health problems. Bill takes a direct, supportive, and action oriented approach with his clients. As a clinician, he uses a variety of treatment techniques to build communication skills, foster meaningful relationships, practice healthy coping skills, and to establish and maintain healthy boundaries, and build self-esteem. He is well versed in evidence-based models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Eye-Movement and Desensitization Therapy. In his free time, he enjoys the art of Krav Maga, spending time reading, reviewing research, and playing with his dog Gabby. Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corp, and is a Vietnam War veteran.
