Dr. Nina DiTommaso is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and received her Bachelors in Psychology, her Masters in Mental Health Counseling, and her Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education, with a graduate certificate in grief, loss, and trauma. Nina is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Mental Health Service Provider, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, a Certified Mental Health Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has 20 years of experience providing  individual, group, couples, and family counseling for clients in private practice, inpatient, and outpatient environments. Nina has many years of experience as a supervisor, she oversees the practice operations for all employees and supervises the clinical work with all clients by providing consultation and supervision to all the clinicians within the practice.  Nina is a firm believer in the wellness model which encompasses the total health of the client, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Outside of work, Nina enjoys spending time with her daughters, weight training, and traveling with her family. Nina is driven and assertive which makes her an asset to the Tennessee Counseling team, she ensures that our clients receive optimal care, and that the clinicians are operating with best client practices.
